‘‘The spacious, ever changing skies and the weather fronts passing over land and sea are one of my biggest inspirations for my work. It is the feeling and energy of being out in the elements that I aim to recreate in my paintings. In contrast I am also inspired by familiar everyday shapes in the home, which I interpret with simple lines and restful compositions.’’
