This workshop was amazing. Kate is a kind, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, professional artist with a talent for teaching. I produced more art in this weekend workshop than I did over the last 3 months. Not only that, I felt invigorated and in touch with what is my soul style of painting for the first time in a long time! I enjoyed having contact with other artists. I travelled a long way to take this workshop and the journey home took over 5 hours - but I'd do it all again. I highly recommend this workshop to all people interested in painting - at all levels. A fantastic informative day spent in Kate's welcoming studio space, learning from Pete about earth pigments. His experience with collecting and creating works of art with his discoveries was inspiring. I loved learning how to bind and make paints and create paintings with the spellbinding colours. Met some lovely people too!

Through Kate's mentoring I have gained confidence in my ability to express my creativity. This experience has opened up and created new opportunities and possibilities I never thought possible. Kate is very knowledgeable, gentle and patient and I am truly grateful for her input and I continue to grow in our sessions together.

I discovered Kate on the last day of the Devon Open Studios this year. I loved her work and how it made me feel, so much, that I was delighted to be able to sign up for her Intuitive Painting Workshop. It didn't disappoint. She was so inspiring and helpful that she led me gently to produce the sort of art I had been crying out to achieve, but didn't know how.

Kate gently guided us away from "thinking" towards "intuition" so the images appeared in an organic way. I experienced the feeling of chaos with my work at one point and was guided to quieten the image using colour and technique. The time went so quickly. Kate was extremely generous with her knowledge and the equipment she provided. It was a thoroughly enjoyable weekend and I learned a lot about herself as well as painting and intuitive creativity. It was an inspiring weekend workshop which I highly recommend.

It has been fun and surprising to see people's reactions to my creations since the weekend, I went for a cuppa with a friend who lives near your studio after the course, and she liked one of my pictures so much it's now on her kitchen wall! And some relatives of mine came round and really liked the canvas with a very swirly sky on it that I was going to paint over once I got some paints, and that is now on the wall at their house! So it's nice that your inspiration has rippled out to others in this way.

I thoroughly enjoyed the course and felt it had just the right balance of guidance and freedom to play, a lovely relaxing and inspiring weekend.
