Inspired by the wild beauty of Dartmoor where I live and the rugged Cornish coast where I grew up, my paintings invite you to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with the natural world. Whether capturing the drama of a distant storm or the quiet shift of light across moorland, each piece holds space for reflection and a window into the wild.

I draw daily from the vast skies, sweeping weather fronts, and untamed land that surround me. My process is deeply intuitive - painting in layers, I use intuitive gestural brushwork, soft tonal shifts, and textural detail to evoke atmosphere and emotion. My process balances abstraction with memory, drawing on my connection with nature.

Through these gestural techniques, I aim not just to depict a place, but to evoke a sense of it—expressing an emotional response to the landscape and the elements. My work resonates with those who feel a deep connection to nature.

With a background in yoga teaching, presence and flow are central to my studio practice. Each painting is a conversation between myself, the canvas, and the world around me—open and expansive, yet rich with subtle detail that gently unfolds over time.

I studied at Falmouth Art College and began exhibiting my paintings in 2017, receiving the Emerging Artist Bursary from Devon Open Studios the following year. My work continues to be shaped by a lifelong relationship with wild places and my deep connection to the sea.

“I paint intuitively and with experimentation, always exploring and diving into the unknown with my materials, abstracting what I can from all I observe and what moves me in my everyday life… finding beauty in the ordinary.”

As well as opening to the public for annual exhibitions in the studio, visitors are welcome to visit anytime throughout the year by appointment. Just send an email to arrange a visit.
